Billericay Town

Just a heads up for those that don't know.

Tonight's match is live on BT Sport.

Better side won on the night, Billericay looked ordinary. If they are supposedly the best Ryman Prem side it must be a poor old league.

About time they got brought down a peg, maybe now they can concentrate on the league and play a bit of catch up with all there games in hand.

Didn't quite get he's wish, if they get through the replay, they have Wycombe away.

I saw Gareth Ainsworth over there last night. I resisted mentioning the name Joe Pigott.

Leatherhead definitely the better side. Rallied really well after going 1-0 down. Ricay didn't show much quality in the final 1/3rd....Cant think of any other Essex teams who have been like that this season. :whistling:

were the 5 minutes added time for treatment to the ball ? I imagine the poor thing had to be taken off on a stretcher at the end of the game given the battering it took.

Fairly enjoyable non league entertainment though, Leatherhead CB was dominant and Billericay didn't seem to have a plan B

Didn’t have much of a plan A either...

This is part and parcel of Tamplin's reign though. He's assembled enough talent and firepower that'll get him past the vast majority of teams that they're likely to come up against, but they've struggled against organised teams with a bit of management nous behind them.

This is what'll do for Tamplin eventually.
