Tony Blair could face prosecution.

Some of you may not know that Tony Blair is immune from prosecution over the Iraq war. Along with Jack Straw and Lord Goldsmith who were the foreign secretary and attorney general at the time.

A private prosecution was blocked a while ago but apparently the decision will be reviewed. Though I very much doubt it will ever happen, I mean historical prosecution is for NI squaddies and BBC light entertainers from the seventies. We can even prosecute the police commander in charge at Hillsborough because lets face it none of those are from the real upper levels of the elite.

Still after seeing Phoney Tony at the Chilcot inquiry, nothing would please me more than to see that smirk wiped of off his face if he had to face a charge of treason.

I am not sure that treason is the correct charge.
I would be surprised for an inquiry to be allowed as if it had any gumption it may well find, link and prosecute him (and other "top" politicos) for corruption and malpractice in a public office regards deals he brokered with defense industries, school builders, and foreign agencies which lead to lucrative "jobs" deals and benefits when he stepped down from being PM.
I suspect that too many in the upper echelon of power do that, too often, for there to ever be a day of reckoning for Tony and others as none would dare open the lid on the can of worms.

But Hang on a minute. Surely Labour can do no wrong and is the Party that will lead us out of all this doom and gloom? Look at the heavy unemployment, the high interest rates, and the 'hash' that is being made of balancing the books. The 5th largest GDP in the world. Shocking!
