MK Dons aren't definitely down yet but (a) they need snookers and (b) they can't finish above AFC Wimbledon, which will be a first.

Good.

It's not bad is it? 2 games to go and still all to play for for so many teams.

Division 3 it might be but the level of competition is good value for money.

At the foot of League Two, Chesterfield have gone, but Barnet are fighting hard and have dragged Morecambe into it.

Morecambe have Cambridge at home on Tuesday and if they fail to win then next Saturday's match is a real battle :-

Morecambe v. Barnet.

Barnet's last game is at home to Chesterfield, while Morecambe are away at Coventry.

Morecambe drew last night with Cambridge, so Saturday's game is very much up for grabs!

The crowd at the Morecambe-Cambridge game was 992. They’re punching about two divisions above their weight even being in the football league!

It was 893 at home to Col U in March  And ended 0-0!

I see that teams such as Salford (Conference North Champions) and Harrogate Town (2nd in the Conference North) are getting more than that for their home games ........... and they are 2 leagues below Morecambe.
There are quite a few teams in the conference leagues who get better crowds, Telford, Boston, Hereford to name a further three.

Even poor old Torquay have 1,800 or so regularly and they are on their way out of the Conference into Conference South. Very sad story behind Torquay's decline. There but for fortune go the Shrimpers.... (and Cox and Robinson of course)

Some games worth looking out for tomorrow :-

Championship

Burton v. Bolton

League One

Walsall v. Northampton
Oxford v. Rochdale

A few others, as well, involving sides likely to come up or hanging on to staying in our division.

That Burton v Bolton game is massive

That Walsall V Northampton match is a real 6 pointer also.

(Not affecting us.... but at the bottom of Div 2 Barnet also have a massive game against Morecombe... I hope they get a result tomorrow & pull of the great escape and survive the drop on the last day of the season).

Emotions will be high at the Valley tomorrow, it's Johnnie Jackson's retirement game and I fully expect he'll be making a cameo appearance at the start of the game. They'll want a win to commemorate his retirement from the game.

If they can win today, Barnet have Chesterfield at home on the last day, while Morecambe are away at Coventry, so they have every chance of survival.

Just heard him on talk sport.Has played 498 games-says he might get on this season perhaps, but could be next season.

Burton 2-0 up and Barnsley winning, as well.

Not looking good for Bolton.

Northampton Town are all but relegated to League Two. In order to survive the drop they will have the small matter of beating Oldham 9-0 in the final game of the season & hope Rochdale lose also.
