Been a Boro supporter since 69 only ever supported one team so this is a little strange.
But now retired and living in Pitsea so decided to follow a local team.
Got the season ticket now just hoping to see good football, and learn the players names.
Had a walkabout at Roots Hall yesterday and was impressed it ain't The Riverside but its alot closer.
Up The Blues.

Welcome, theres something different supporting a smaller club. I genuinely prefer it to going to a bigger club myself, hope you enjoy it.

Getting a season ticket is some commitment :)

Not really Jam_Man I was given 2 by my nephew first time in my life I have actually had a season ticket not quite sure how they work I always thought they cover only home league games and not away or cup games. So gotta phone the box office tomorrow for a Newport ticket.
I wonder if they will allow me to have my seat or will somebody else have that.
Will know tomorrow.

Welcome to the board and to the Shrimper family! It's a heck of a roller coaster but a lot more personal than the big clubs!

Depends what stand your season ticket is in?
At the moment for the Newport game only the East Stand open for home fans.
You can check online for available tickets.

You're mad, but you'll work that out for yourself soon enough...says the guys that hasn't lived in Southend for over 25 years and is still a season ticket holder!

Out of interest, what made you retire to Pitsea?
