How about we take a chance on Steven Caulker ? Like most of our squad he will need managing carefully , but having Caulker and Kiernan as our central defenders would be quality and would allow Anton Ferdinand to sit deep midfield and play in Phil Brown's cherished "Ivan Campo role " ..... sitting in and organising , whilst John White could play at full back and give us someone who knows how to actually defend properly playing there.

The article below is interesting , not only for the Drewe Broughton mention , but for some of our "fans" who like to verbally abuse our own players on the pitch - and how even International class players are affected mentally by it and how it has such a massive detrimental affect on the team. Players need confidence more than anything else , so even after the horrible drubbing of the past 2 games we need to encourage every single one of our men on Saturday + make this a turning point in our season. UTB !

Okay I can't help but bite.

Anton Ferdinand. In Midfield. Jesus help us all for we have sinned.

On a side note, I highly doubt a player like Caulker would drop to L1 :hilarious:

Caulker half ****ed would have been better than what we had on Saturday. Won't happen though as I imagine he's on at least £30k a week.

Are you trying to give the poor man a stroke?

i assume you didn't read the follow up article on the bottom of a the link you provided. Dated 31 July he has returned to training at QPR and Holloway is delighted and can't believe his luck in having a player of that quality.
