Who's this Rorschach guy and why is he so good at drawing pictures of my Dad beating me?

Tories issued a 3 line whip to keep the Windrush documentation out of public view. Bearing in mind that they really really need to be seen to be dealing with this fairly this is a very harsh move.

I think we can safely conclude that as May was Home Secretary for 6 years they are definitely hiding something that would lead to her having to resign as PM.

As Dianne Abbott said:-“After losing her human shield with the resignation of Amber Rudd, the architect of this scandal, Theresa May, ordered her MPs to vote to cover up the truth of her involvement.”

"The British government is free to make a decision about its participation in the World Cup," he said.

But nobody has the right to insult the Russian people - who defeated Nazism and lost more than 25 million people - by comparing our country to Nazi Germany.

    That goes beyond common sense."

Windrush has been a massive scandal - very disappointed that the Government's hollow promises to make amends have fallen at the first hurdle and disappointed that BBC 10 o'clock News feel that the vote to keep these details secret is not worth a mention in their broadcast.

She will not resign as PM for the simple reason that no one wants to replace her. Even the Labour Party will shy away from demanding her resignation and potential GE.
She accepted the poisioned chalice and will have to steer us all through Brexit and will have to leave due to the blame that will be put on her by either (or both) sides with the Brexit fallout and aftershocks.

No one will give a **** about windrush in three weeks .. dead woman walking can now stagger on till October when the votes in parliament get ugly again. She is walking a lot further than anyone thought possible

Have to agree.... come July, Windrush will be nothing more than chip paper. Just the same as no one remembers or talks about the previous Secretary Of Defence Michael Fallon's resignation over sexual harassment scandal. (usually by finding another scandal caused by a rival party in order to bury it).

All political parties have the uncanny knack of sweeping bad news under the carpet pretty damn quickly.

Bang on the money. You have today a general public spoon fed instant news from a multitude of outlets and the vast majority are only too happy to move on and get fed the next ready meal scandal and forget the last. Today's news is tomorrows chip paper. That saying is more true today than it ever has been in history.

We absolutely love seeing our politicians get a good kicking for misdeeds or mistakes made but nothing sells more papers or gets more mouse clicks than the next big scandal and we lap them up and move on.

Teresa May will not be walking away any time soon and she won't be ousted from office. Shortly after we leave the EU for good she will announce job done and resign from office herself.

Agree with the posts above, for a "Dead Woman Walking", she's walking an awful long way and Labour are, in reality, not doing an awful lot to stop her.

"Neck and neck" in the national vote count, however you look at it, at this time and in the current political climate is a poor position for Labour, who should have stormed ahead in the local elections.

I never thought I'd say this, but well done to the Government in cutting the largest bet to £2 on fixed odds gambling machines. See, it must feel good to put people before profits for a change?

Oh I don't know. The big gambling companies are saying they expect to close 100s of shops and put thousands out of work.

I suspect around a third of the UK's 9,000-ish betting shops will close over the next three-four years as a result of this.

FOBTs account for well over half of shop profits these days - they provided a lot of shops with a stay of execution as the reasons for regular sports bettors to bet in shop rather than online have been decreasing for the last 18 years.

Southend boy Matt Zarb-Cousin has been campaigning hard for this.
