In the spirit of this thread, Marilyn Monroe didn't die on this day and the Boer War didn't start.
 
Only disappointment that day was the lunchtime KO ( Police advised? ), which kept the Geordie away support down to about 100. Albeit they were struggling, but had it been a 3pm KO, i'm sure they would have had a few 100 more at the game.
