And still has the family up there as well ......
And if big Sam gets the Everton job , return of the dream management team anybody ??
I don't think it is likely but I have had a tenner on it, I want to keep Brown but £250 would soften the blow if the unlikely does happenPhil Brown is 25/1 with the bookies for the Sunderland job, could be worth a punt at those odds?
Brown to Sunderland, Chris Powell to the blues.. teams swap league positions come May, everybody's happy!
Backroom team of Powell (Gaffer), Barrett (Assistant), Prior (Coach) and Maher (Coach & U/23)

Aitor Karanka the favourite now. Is available, has worked in the North East before (with Boro) and has a recent Championship promotion on his CV. Would make a lot of sense.

Brown to Sunderland?
Why would a Championship club want a manager who has been rattling around in the bottom couple of divisions for years with no outstanding success? In the last 10 seasons the only time he's spent in the Championship was 4 months taking Preston down.
