My site, my rules.

Be careful, Ken. It's also run on donations.

Have voted, as well.

Played for Hullbridge Sports when I was a youth. Back in the day when we played at Pooles Lane and had the social club just off Ferry Road, there.

We were actually there when the sports & social club was first being built and were part of a working party on that ground a couple of times.

Also played cricket over there, until they folded a couple of years back.

Well said Andy, this site wouldn't be run without donations and to say it's my site, lump it or leave it is wrong.

Played for Hullbridge as a kid. If I remember right we lost in under 10's final to a team that had Warren May in their ranks.

We had sponsored walks etc to raise money for the planning stage even before building began.

Their cricket square was never the best however I did have one very luck day down at the Bridge. You may have been scoring

Remember it well.

Yep, not a great track. Pooles Lane was a better wicket and with the river at the bottom, was a nice place to play cricket.

Hullbridge CC went the way of a lot of sides with no youth structure. It's a shame, as having such a big football set-up, you would think the cricket would tap into this, but it never really has.

Done but if they now climb the leagues and overtake us as a result of having superior facilities to us I won't be happy.

Done, Ken, think one of my work colleagues played for Hullbridge Ladies - assuming they're connected?
