Hard to describe a man who was as mad as a box of frogs one minute and the loveliest guy the next.

I had a lot of time for Peter in the old days of SUFC and Focus youth centre, he always scared the **** out of me though as you never knew what he would do next, but we had some great times.

An unbelievable character who was fearless above the normal. He was one of us in the 70's but sadly lost his way a few years later with drugs etc taking control of his life.
 
Peter could indeed have his moments and sometimes to be out with him and he lost his temper it could be a bit like grabbing a tiger by the tail, but to those of us who knew him he was also a kind, generous and loyal friend. I knew him from the age of 11 and he had those qualities then and he never lost them.

I remember when anyone who went to Southend Youth Centre were know as The Ant Hill Mob .
