Just announced he has died of a heart attack.

He was a fab player. Not that old either. Very sad.

Great player , Billy Bonds said that the only way to stop him was to jump on his back , then added he would run another 50 yards with you on his back , RIP Cyrille .

Yes great player so RIP. He was one of the 'Three Degrees' at WBA. Am I right in thinking he won Goal of the season once V Forrest with Shilton in goal?

Sad news! Superb player, never forget that WBA game against Man U, when he and Laurie Cunningham ripped them a new one!

RIP Cyrille

A player like Cyrille would save us from relegation .:winking:

Some 'famous' deaths just pass you by. Others really hit you and this was one of those. Very sad indeed.

I just love this photo from the WBA changing rooms back in the day...

59 is way too young, but heart attacks are no respecters of age. Very sad day and a big loss to football and supporters everywhere.

Just seen this on the BBC News.

Heart wrenching interview with Brian Deane about Racism in football in the 70's and 80's.
