RICKY Duncan and Kevin Maher took training at Southend United this morning as the Shrimpers began life without Phil Brown.

Glad to see ricky duncan in charge and maher as assistant for saturdays game.Ricky duncan has done a brilliant job with the youth set up and lots of his players been given more of a chance latetley to impress in the first team! Can see the blue boys playing for him and maher and them having a positive influence on the squad.

It's been a whole day without a permanent manager.. this feels weird. :stunned:

Have any of the Zoners been able to make it over to Boots And Laces today to see if there have been any changes in the way the session was held? i.e. more emphasis on attacking/defensive or work on set plays - or more fitness focused etc.

As of Monday only 9 days of the transfer window left....tick tock tick tock....could do with something sorted pronto else it will be the reason no signings happened and all this reduces not increases our certainty of L1 football next year..

Why delays...is there a plan B or perhaps Chris Powell is the Plan B?..
