Just chatting to my mate ap leamington we were wondering if anyone knows the date and venue of this event? Reckon it could be quite spicy and some interesting insight behind the scenes at our club. Cheers

Theo Robinson mentioned him on his Instagram story earlier. They must still be in touch, haven’t seen much from him on social media since he got sacked.

Anton was very brutal about Nile, very close to the bone, don't want to paraphrase but in essence saying he talked a good game and won Phil over but he was his own worst enemy.

Timlin has the makings of a great analyst in terms of honesty and experience and made for a good chat - he spoke about Phil and the way the dressing room wasn't his at the end but, again, don't want to spin his wording.

They didn't hold anything back in the chats. Anton on John Terry, his brother, how it was playing for Southend.

Seemed to both have genuine affection for the club, it's fans and it's potential.

Interestingly Timlin said he thought this could have been his last season but feels really rejuvenated with the team around him and how Powell is amazing with his group huddles pre game and everyone is given a fair crack and encouragement. Reckons he's playing back to his form from a few years ago.

Really enjoyed both their chats in their own ways.

No sign of Nile though....

Anton was quite honest when he spoke after the Trust AGM in October, and seems to really love the area here. Both are playing so much better at the moment and long may that continue.
