Haven’t been Peterborough for years many away boozers close the ground?

The boat is ok but there are much better around the station. Also the Palmerston Arms is brilliant, that's a 10-min walk from the ground.

The Wetherspoons near the station - The Drapers Arms - is decent enough. Seem to remember drinking some potent Japanese beer in there a couple of years ago.

I'm not one for a spoons when going to the footy, but the one here is decent and basically the first place you walk past from the station in the town.

Yeah, I'd agree with that, Peterborough is one of my old haunts from way back, and the Palmerston has always been a good boozer.
