I see Ben Stokes has been included in the 15 man squad for the upcoming series later this month.

Squad as follows:

Eoin Morgan,
Moeen Ali,
Jonny Bairstow,
Sam Billings,
Jos Buttler,
Tom Curran,
Alex Hales,
Liam Plunkett,
Adil Rashid,
Joe Root,
Jason Roy,
Ben Stokes,
David Willey,
Chris Woakes,
Mark Wood.

Different series 'matti'.

This is the tail end of the Tri-Series, which is split between Oz and NZ and yesterday was one of the later games of that series.

The NZ Tour itself doesn't start until 25th February with 5 ODI's and 2 Test Matches. The squad in the OP is for the 5 ODI's.

I noticed James Vince played yesterday in the T20, so we must be running low on squad players!

Good to see Stokes back, a much improved performance over the 1st ODI.

The ground fielding and catching in the 2nd ODI were both outstanding!

Good series, this.

That was the first ODI NZ have lost for 10 matches!

Another good match yesterday, which we contrived to throw away on two separate occasions.

Now down to the decider.

Yep. Absolutely mullered them and they are a good side.

Our ODI batting really is quite something at the moment. Just need to slightly improve some elements of the bowling.

Some luxury that we can pick a specialist death bowler. Tom Curran is good enough to justify it too. Once he can bowl more tidy overs earlier in the innings so he can bowl 10, he'll be a huge asset.
