It would not surprise me if getting rid of NR was actually something SCP required before taking the job as they are polar opposites & if there was a divided dressing room then even more reason to do so.

That didn't happen as Ron Martin didn't talk to or approach CP until after Phil Brown was gone. Everything was done above board, and when dealing with someone like CP, it's the only way to do things.
 
No I very much doubt Ranger would behave any differently who ever the manager was, he's a rotten egg. As with the Michael Ricketts situation we are well shot of him.
 
Who cares about Ranger, waste of space in my view, I think he would have taken the **** under whoever he was managed by
