As some of you are aware myself and Cockle represent SZ on the Supporters Forum alongside reps from The Trust, TZ, Blue Voice, Exiles, Disabled Supporters and the Fanzine and we meet with the Club and the Police Liaison.

We met earlier this month.

Some highlights.

Disabled Supporters. This is one of the hot topics. The Disabled Supporters area is at the back of West Stand, and there are significant problem with space and viewing. Alternatives are being looked at, but there is no obvious or easy solution. The matter was due to be discussed the following evening with the Trust (I've not seen an update).

Supporter Behaviour. There were a few issues at Blackburn with supporter behaviour, with objects being thrown over the segregation netting. There was also some "unpleasantness" outside afterwards which was dealt with by the Police. This was an isolated incident with Southend fans away this season.

Two smoke bombs were recovered at the Blackbrn game, and not ignited. Just a reminder for some of the younger supporters of the dangers in the use of smoke bombs and the risk of possible clib bans or arrest, plus football banning orders. It's not worth the risk for a bit of smoke.
There some problems with Gillingham fans in the NW corner during and further action is being taken against three Gillingham fans.

Next Season
2500 season tickets sold for next season (which is comparable to last year)

Programmes
Will be on sale on a trial basis from the club shop before the MK Dons (and possibly Bristol Rovers) games. It is hoped this may be a permanent arrangement, but the sale of programmes is controlled by the printers.

Pitch
Will be relayed earlier than last summer. :)

Close Season
Meet The Blues Day will be on the last Sunday in July. No Seniors match, but the youth squad will be playing Brighton

The Kit
Next year's kit has been chosen - which is earlier than in previous seasons. There were suggestions it would be played in at our final home game (but this now wont happen). It is hoped to have the new kit on sale earlier than in previous years.

Refreshments
Still issues in the South Stand for refreshments as there is no Tea Bar there. This is down to power issues. It causes huge queues at the family stand tea bar at half time.

Good update LF. Was there any discussion on the leaking roof at the entrance to the West? Water and electricity are never a good mix.

Thanks for the update. It’s good to hear that supporters concerns and views are heard.
