Nice, you can drive to Norwich or you could go to Worstead or Wroxham to get the train.
Worstead is my nearest station but they only run about every 2 hours on that line and Greater Anglia trains from Norwich to Shenfield do not tie up very well with the Prittlewell line, especially for the return journey and that is without taking the engineering works that they seem to do every weekend. My daughter goes to Lowestoft by train most weekends and we often have to drop her off at either Ingatestone, Chelmsford or even Colchester (from Upminster) just so that she can get her connecting train from either Ipswich or Norwich whichever is quickest. Do you travel down from Gt Yarmouth?
