Play nice chaps and let's not go down the religion road --- it's a minefield.
Sorry boss. Sorry Rusty.

If that's what you truly think, then you must be of questionable intelligence.
Would that not be a reflection of their readership though?
If you have 10minutes, this video is a very interesting watch: http://youtu.be/u6XAPnuFjJc
separate question Barn, do you automatically assume that best educated and cleverest are the same thing?Yet again you question the intelligence of anyone who has the temerity to disagree with you.Perhaps you should re-evaluate your own "questionable intelligence"?
I would have thought after The Times and FT, ( and possibly the Torygraph),The Guardian has the best educated readership of any British daily.

Here's another.

I assume by your comment that you agree with MK's assertions that if the current City crew were replaced by under-motivated layabouts, the City might be performing better in that case?
I can't say I'm surprised by this seeing that you moved to a part of the world where part of the daily afternoon schedule involves "taking a nap"
A good Catalan joke is relevant here.A Catalan businessman goes to some government offices, in Madrid in the early afternoon, and is suprised to find everything closed. He says to the cleaning lady."Don't they work here in the afternoons?" She replies:"Oh no,they don't come in the afternoons. It's in the mornings they don't work."

If you think that's what I really think then you're the dimwit.
You're motivated types are just greedy *******s who'd **** on their own grandmother for a bonus. Excuse me for finding that behaviour repulsive.

I work for an investment bank and I am a man of the people who lives to give.
We should be building bridges, not walls.
Well you said it, even as a throwaway statement/joke, it doesn't make any sense.
Actually your comment is somewhat insulting (which you probably meant it to be) to me as my Mother and Auntie decided to leave Essex some time ago and left my Grandmothers care to me. I go and visit her weekly to sort out bits she needs done around the house and take her shopping.
Just because I'm ambitious in my job, it doesn't mean I'm the same at home or in my family situation. I try to make as much time as possible for my little girl, but at the end of the day I have a job that means that I have to work late every now and then (without overtime pay) and don't end up seeing her as much as I'd like to. If I lost my job and struggled to find another, I'd be up the creek as I don't believe in taking handouts from the government, unlike you lefties who were born with your arms extended.
I'm certainly not greedy, I just want the best and am happy to work hard for it.
