And still has the family up there as well ......

And if big Sam gets the Everton job , return of the dream management team anybody ??

Phil Brown is 25/1 with the bookies for the Sunderland job, could be worth a punt at those odds?
I don't think it is likely but I have had a tenner on it, I want to keep Brown but £250 would soften the blow if the unlikely does happen

Think there's a good chance of this and worth a punt at 25's

Sunderland budget cutting so won't be affording a big name and looking at the club's precarious position there is probably only a few who would step into that role.

Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeease let this happen albeit highly unlikely

No doubt Brown will tout himself in the local and national press at any given opportunity

Aitor Karanka the favourite now. Is available, has worked in the North East before (with Boro) and has a recent Championship promotion on his CV. Would make a lot of sense.

That would be far too sensible and stop 25 pages of hearsay on here!

Why would a Championship club want a manager who has been rattling around in the bottom couple of divisions for years with no outstanding success? In the last 10 seasons the only time he's spent in the Championship was 4 months taking Preston down.

He did get Hull promoted into the Prem Mick!
