Billericay Town

Brilliant result for the Ks. Tamplin and BTFC in general have been awfully quiet on Twitter since the 88th minute yesterday.

And this is his first tweet since their loss:

Luckily, no. Usually see a game or two per season and catch up with a couple of longtime supporters but won't be back until GT disappears off the scene.

And this is his first tweet since their loss:

The irony of a convicted criminal using a meme of a convicted fraudster as a beacon for his dreams is fairly delicious. Not as funny as his (shockingly now-deleted) tweet about them never being off top spot all season, mind.

Still, the similarities with what Frank The C**t did at Orient are chilling. It'll all end in tears.

More of the artwork around the ground, click on the picture and read the quote at the bottom:

Remarkable stuff.......for such a humble bloke......

C'mon Lowestoft!

I retract my previous words about him being humble. He did come across as humble in the radio interview. I thought maybe he had turned a corner and stopped his ego trip well obviously not.

Funny enough it has tones of Ron Martin, if you remember everyone's friend, handing out his mobile numbers to all and sundry, and promising a brave new world, and many fell for the talk

Perhaps he's playing a clever game and getting as much focus on the club, can imagine BBC will be looking at showing one of their FA cup games on TV,again clever ploy to maximise the club in what would have been another non league club forgotten and giving 30 seconds exposure

Think many people are jealous that a smaller club has a backer and want them to go under, forgetting the real losers will be the fans who have supported through thick and thin

Following with interest and wish the club, supporters and players all the best, just wonder how many would be rejoicing if he had bought us out, easy to say wouldn't want him or his likes associated with the club, but if the chance came .....

UTS

Really?!

Any of us can take the easy route and support a team with big money. Any of us can ditch Southend and start supporting Billericay if we wanted. There's no such thing as jealousy here - only derision.

The fact that we all support Southend, our local club and our team - and not the countless bigger and/or richer clubs - is because we aren't arsed about guaranteed success or selling out. Certainly I'd rather Southend be average for the rest of time rather than lose what we are all about to a total **** like Glenn Tamplin. I suspect true Billericay fans feel the same.
