Gerrard gets off

Absolute joke, what example does this set to current generation..that it is ok to punch somebody, aledgely in self defence. My estimation of Gerrard has gone way down after this.

"What at first sight to the casual observer may seem to have been a clear-cut case against you of unlawful violence, has been nowhere near as clear-cut upon careful analysis of the evidence."

I dont understand . He hits the bloke and the bloke doesn't hit him, so its not unlawful violence.

So if i suspect a bloke is going to break into my house, I can shoot him.

Got a gun Rusty?

I refuse to answer that question in case Irate Ian is here in disguise.

Called it from the start. Exactly what I thought would happen, even with the evidence against him.

Shambles.
