All,

In the process of converting my spare room to a nursery, I have today ripped off a shed load of pine cladding that was hiding a multitude of sins; Crumbling plaster and on one wall what looks like damp...now on one hand I'm ****ed off with the previous tenants slapdashery, but on the other it's better that MK junior sleeps in a dry room.

So does any one have any knowledge of how much this costs? And if any of you fancy the job, send me a PM and I'll give you more details.

Oh yeah, it's not a huge room by any means - say 15ft x 6ft?

Can you not claim on insurance Paul? Had damp proof coursing done on the old house back wall, where the extension was added about 10 years ago, was a right pig, can't remember how much it cost though but you're going to want local recommendations anyway I'd have thought.

Considering it, but if I can just get an idea of how much then I'll take it from there.
