Ever since I joined SZ, I've always used the "new post" function to see what's going on rather than searching the forums. Since Saturday morning, this has been behaving strangely, a fact I highlighted to Cricko on the FB SZ page.
According to SZ, there are about 8 pages of new posts! What I actually had was probably about 12 or so actual new threads, and then underneath these, the message that "some of these threads have not been updated since my last visit but still contain unread posts"...some of which date back to well into February, and which I know full well have been either read or passed over....mine is even the last comment on one or two of them. Also, when I first noticed the problem, when I used the little arrow to go to the most recent post, it took me back to the beginning of the thread - again, when I knew I'd already read it.
If I then comment on what is actually a valid new post thread, it then disappears off the face of the earth! I have also, on occasion, gone to the Settings option and commented on subscribed threads, so when I tried that to see if it was any better, I found I had about 50 subscribed threads, again, going back into February! I've now unsubscribed from the vast majority to reduce that.
Cricko was going to look into this weird occurrence for me, not heard anything back yet. It's still like it for me this morning, anyone else got this problem?
