With thanks to The Seventies North Bank, I've just had a look an' listen to this great short film about some fine bands and musicians from Southend and Canvey from the early 1960s up to the '80s >https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bPjhnhk7iaE < including The Paramounts, Procol Harum, Mickey Jupp, The Kursaal Flyers, the Feelgoods, Wilko, Eddie & The Hot Rods and Alf. Steve Hooker gets a look in too. Nice story from Lew Lewis about how Lee Brilleaux sorted out his harmonica problem ...

Great stuff - good to hear my favourite Mickey Jupp song `Standing at the Crossroads`

Suprised you haven't got it.It's in one of the Billy Bragg box set compilations.

(Edit.I checked last night and it's not in either of the BB boxsets.

I've seen the programme before though.Either when it came out or a re-run on BBC4.Can't remember which).

Well-worth seeing again though.
