Get battered with my breakfast. Perhaps go watch a game at Wembley. Celebrate by having some more drinks. Stay up in London somewhere to have a celebratory day at Lords getting battered watching the Cricket.

Leave sunny Grays around noonish, get into The Green Man, smash a couple of beers back, let off a few dozen smoke bombs, then pile into Wembley.

COYB

Spoons @ tower or crosse keys, globe at baker St, green man it up, win promotion, tear up the casino , watch chunky win the world title and spend the rest of bank holiday weekend in the doghouse. Woof.

Pubs around Baker St will surely be full of Wycombe as their entry point into London is Marylebone.

If you were travelling to Wembley from High Wycombe would you go past Wembley Stadium station and head into London only to have to go back before kick-off? Don't think I'd bother.

Breakfast at Mama Dells in Witham High Street, then Hugo's 2nd birthday party in Colchester 11 til 1, then take junior fish (2 1/4) to COlchester zoo. Back home, play at the park for a bit, feed him, put him to bed then watch on Sky on delay.

Phone will be switched off, and it'll be the one time I'll be fine to listen to Jacob's Sing and Sign CD on a loop so I don't run the risk of catching any indication of proceedings on the radio.

Wife is away on a hen weekend, in-laws in Germany, Sister-in-law and husband on wedding anniversary weekend away, Mum Dad and brother will be at Wembley.

Get up, step out my room for a dip in the swim up at my 5* hotel in Kos.

Stuff myself with the all inc brekky.

Head to the white sand beach, with turquoise warm waters, palms and all inc alcohol and catch some rays.

Head back to room for a freshen up.

Stuff myself again at the all inc Beach BBQ, watching the sun set.

Take a stroll into Kefalos to a bar over looking the Aegean Sea.

Get smashed on cheap beer/cocktails and watch us win.

Would I rather be at Wembley?.

Yes. :'(

you can go on holiday any year :winking:

So what will everyone's Wembley plan be on the big day?

Personally, I think I will have breakfast with a beer or 2 in Rayleigh (Roebuck) and then head down to the station (Rayleigh) on route to Weatherspoons at Baker Street (enjoyed it there last time, it was rammed) then I'll probably head to the Green Man this time as I never went there on the last visit, with a stroll up Wembley Way on route

With kickoff being later, I want to have a good few beers but not too many so I don't enjoy the game :hilarious:

My expectations last time were far too high. Arrive at Wickford Station, rammed - excellent seeing all teh support, tried to start a cupld of songs-----------silence. Get to Baker street at 10.50 (spot on) have a few drinks and Mcdondalds but don't really think he atmosphere is 'that good' . Walk down Wembley way, we outnumber Crewe fans 4-1 and we are totally out sung. the match- less said the better. Next day find out on here that the Green Man was the place to me

this year I am going with far lower expectations and we are going to the Green man . Hoping for a Win Win WIn on all fronts

If I can find $4,000 by next Wednesday, I will be there.

More than likely I will be watching it at a pub in Australia. Make it a big night out.

Work at 5am, finish bath/shower/gentlemans wash, train for around middayish wetherspoons one stop past Wembley or green man depending on weather! Wembley way 4:30-5 COYB! If win hit east end pound in the pot bars see a little bit of gash and party all the way home!!

Good point well made.

Some crackers a short walk from there though - e.g. The Masons Arms on Devonshire St or Prince Of Wales Feathers on Warren St.

Its got to start off with a nice breaky somewhere, going with a couple of workmates and the mrs. Will also will travelling (but not sitting with) a load of lads from my local. They are a good bunch who always ask me how southend are getting on and I have even managed to get him to go to games on their own accord now, they've been several times this season.

Train it up to Wembley and head straight to The Greene Man and get smashed.

Up to Wembley with TZ with the wife and 2 kids. A drink and a chill at the Green Man, saunter to the ground, watch us win, TZ coach home
