Three minutes left at Bristol................. Rovers have a free kick again in a dangerous position. Lines takes it but it's headed clear and Millwall earn themselves a free kick.
 
Taking forever to take the free kick. Morison heads to the corner flag, playing down the clock..... Rovers can't win the ball at all at the moment.
 
Another free kick to Rovers, but once again cleared followed by a Millwall free kick which again seems to take an age to take..... One minute left.
 
Sinclair's pass just eludes Bodin and the Millwall keeper collects............... Morison booked for time wasting......Rovers take a free kick quickly, Morison scythes down a Rovers man and there's a final chance for Rovers from a free kick....
 
So close. Those four defeats...we got what we deserved.
Great season though. Well done Southend United Football Club.

I guess if we lost out to anyone then it might as well have been to Neil Harris and Adam Barrett.

Weird hearing BBC Essex still on and waiting...
 
....but they fail to capitalise. The ref blows the whistle and Millwall scrape into the play offs.

Good season guys. Bottled it towards the end but still good position to end in and good win today.
 
No argument re Millwall.
We were the 7th best team. We had plenty of chances but were not quite good enough.
Next season? We WILL win this division!!!!
 
Millwall will be turned over by fleetwood dont worry we'll be seeing them next year, kinda want them to lose in the final though just to make it even worse for them
