OK, who would you like to see come in during the summer, and what positions do we need to improve, or cover?

I'll start with a GK;

Lawrence Vigouroux,

Really impressed when we played Swindon, they have been relegated so am sure he will be looking to move on? Heard he's a bit 'temperamental' but as far as ability is concerned he'd be a great asset.

Like Walton since he's come in, but would really like to see a permanent transfer. Now that Brighton are in the Prem I cannot see that happening

No idea on what players but position wise we need the following:

2 centre Half's
2 central midfielders (one being a play maker)
1 quality winger

First things first, keep Lenny and Coker. From there a centre half who is decent and is also a threat from set pieces. A winger.

Time for the end of nouble, Hines, mooney and O'Neill.

Are you serious, Vigouroux is calamity waiting to happen, take Smith and Oxley all day over him

Yep, and replace with the lad at Dover - Ricky Miller; 40 goals this season !

1 quality goal keeper (would be happy to have Walton on a season loan)
2 centre backs (that carry a real threat at set pieces and will help with the injuries we have had here)
2 centre midfielders (playmaker and one to help Lenny)
1 centre forward (as think we will need another)
1 winger to give us more balance on the right

if the budget can stretch, another fullback maybe?

out go:-
hines
nouble
mooney
o'neil
Innis (too injury prone)
Amos (will go back to Spurs)
Williams (already gone)

Hopefully the rest of the team can be kept together and quality additions in the above areas can give us that bit more strength in depth

Do we really need a fifth striker? The four we have are all good players, I'd rather the budget went elsewhere.
Maybe so, but MAF and Ranger's fitness is still questionable - both been unavailable for parts of this season so either or both pulling up lame leaves us short during next season

Goalkeepers
Mark Oxley - Not convinced, doesn't come off line & command area
but steadily improved - Keep if we can't upgrade

Ted Smith - Good young deputy, to continue developing (distribution, especially
kicking and coming for crosses needs improving) and challenge a more
experienced keeper, Oxley or otherwise. - Keep

Defenders
Anton Ferdinand - Experienced head, aiding defensive organisation and presence
in dressing room - Keep

Adam Thompson - Much improved - Keep

Ben Coker - One of our best - Keep

John White - Not starting 11 but decent squad option - Keep

Jason Demetriou - Far too many defensive mistakes - Keep but need
a strong alternative competing for this position

Luke O'Neil - Not seen enough over last few seasons, keep as squad option but
think we'll release if better quality available

MidfieldersMichael Timlin - Lost a yard and no longer a must start this
season but influential and versatile - Keep

Ryan Leonard - Important player, must try to keep (may be in demand)

Will Atkinson - Works hard and dependable, allows others with greater
flair i.e. Wordsworth freedom to play - Keep

Stephen McLaughlin - Excellent until injury, needs good preseason - Keep

Zavon Hines - Not seen enough, injury prone - Release

Jermaine McGlashan - Tricky winger, too inconsistent but good option off bench
- Keep

ForwardsSimon Cox - Excellent first season, goalscorer and creator - Keep

Marc Antoine Fortune - Excellent impact since arriving. Despite age, holds ball
up well and intelligent movement as well as chipping in with the odd goal
- Keep

Nile Ranger - Clearly daft as a brush but hopefully the penny has dropped,
trial goes well and he can get a good preseason under his belt and really push
on next season with support of those good'uns around him. Class above
League One when he's on it - Keep

Frank Nouble - Not up to the standard we need, Release

David Mooney - Good honest professional but needs to move on (should learn
the offside rule in summer break) - Release

Theo Robinson - I'd keep him around as a squad option, largely due to
his pace - Keep

Others
Hoping the youngsters like Harry Kyprianou, Nico Cotton and Jack
Bridge start to become more established in first team squad, as
from glimpses they seem to have ability. Play in cup competitions
where lower risk to test the water.

We need to bolster the squad with some decent loan signings. I question why we
bring in players like Luke Amos, a highly regarded Spurs and England youngster
but barely give the lad any time on the pitch.

So in summary, I believe we definitely need a top quality centre half, a right
back who can defend, a better winger who can take full backs on and deliver
decent crosses and another central midfielder, left back and central
defender for healthy competition.

Making sure we hold onto the spine of the team is the most important first task. Make sure that Coker and Lenny stay.

Then I think 2 centre halves, 2 central midfielders, a winger and maybe a striker.

Either way, lessons need to be learnt from last summer. Have the shortlist ready and get to work on it right away. We have the submission of stadium plans and a strong season on our side to dangle as carrots. Do our business as early as possible, strengthen our depth and make sure everyone is fit and ready to get a full pre-season behind them.

We seriously need an out and out playmaker in midfield, one who is going to create chances for our strike force - which is very good but seem to have to make their own chances.

Probably three CB's as I think Thommo will go and Anton will retire.
A right back (I would convert Demetriou to a winger) and JW is good cover but has lost pace.
A left back, I think Cokes will go.
A young ambitious striker in the Cox mould who Cox can then nurture as Anton has done for Thommo.

Wouldn't be surprised if we will be looking for a manager too!

On the assumption Lenny, Woody and Coker stay I'd be happy with another decent centre back to rotate with Ferdinand, a quick winger who can deliver and another box to box midfielder.

Think you can say that both MAF and Ranger have been unfit at times and effectively had half a season each, which to me is why we probably still need another striker who can provide competition and goals
