No chance - I was following Chris Phillips on Twitter on my sofa in Rye - he kept tweeting about Theo's misses and other shots that hit the woodwork.

You should have been at Brisbane Road.

What a disaster area.

Davis out!

Its not the defeat that irks so many ,as most couldnt care two hoots for the comp and regard it as a thorn in the side , its the manner of the defeat that gets your back up,to lose 7-3 really was a disgrace and management and players combined need to take a good hard long look in the mirror at themselves.

Last night i was sitting on my sofa watching Jermaine Pennants missus :winking:

I think we need to start a new thread: “Comments on heavy defeat to Billericay”.

The fallout from this ESC loss could reverberate for decades. I have spoken to many fans in the last couple of days who have pledged not to celebrate another Blues goal until we regain the ESC. They feel the humiliation of Tuesday is just too great. They say they might not even smile if Southend score. Some of my close pals have promised to turn their backs to the action at Roots Hall until Theo Robinson scores a goal and pulls his shirt over his head to reveal a t-shirt emblazoned with "Soz 4 'Ricay". Someone I spoke to has gone as far as to say that he is now actively boycotting Nile Ranger's Instagram account. These are unprecedented times.

I can't believe people are joking about this. Disgraceful.

Agree with all of these points. We should have a rule where the team and management are instantly sacked whenever we lose in the ESC. It will take the club forward.

Sorry, today's L1 victory at Walsall doesn't make up for being dumped out of the ESC by Billericay. Some fans needs to get their priorities straight.

Close this thread now .. then the people that want to move on, can enjoy the league games, which are 2 wins in 2
