That's about what I watched yesterday. I had hoped that the pitch and the game would look better on screen...........they don't.
 
One factor is that a large mass of snow ended up there as a result of removing it from the pitch, and the greater and denser a mass is the longer it takes to respond to ambient temperature. That’s why my peas defrost quicker than my roasting joint.

That's exactly how I felt thawing out after last Saturday's game! :winking:
 
Indeed.

The highlight was whether the ball, bouncing on top of the West Stand roof, was going to stay in the ground or disappear over the top and into the Shakespeare Drive gardens!
