Breaking News Southend only news.

There are plenty of people visiting Shoeburyness over the past few days who are parking in the bays around Shoebury Common and the Shorehouse. Gunners Park car parks are closed but folk are still driving to that area and finding spots in the Garrison Estate to park their cars. Will be interesting to see what happens around here over the weekend with the warmer weather.

If people are stupid enough to park up anywhere near the seafront for non essential reasons then they should be fined, simple.

Pah! Groups of youths in Priory Park, AND some picnics going on !

Seriously what is it with these cretins?

I live on the A13 ( not literally! ), just before Thames Drive. Def loads more traffic today than last Saturday, & throughout the week. Tomorrow being even warmer, will be interesting?.

Hope these people have enjoyed their weekend in the sun. Selfish ****s. Can see further restrictions in place come Monday. Give people an inch sadly they’ll take a mile. Personally, I’ve enjoyed the sun in my garden and haven’t been out, even for food as no doubt the shops are busy as well, people buying alcohol etc.

Grab back some money and fine people £1K for being out without a good reason. £30 is no deterrent.

Ok? little 14 year old Dwain with his posse of 13yr old Kiel, Wayne, Archie, Poppy and Waynetta are "having it large", are they or their parent(s) going to be good for that? or £30?

Or just get the army into beat the living s*** out of them! Mobiles a couple of old boats and anchor them 5 miles out to sea and dump the f****** on them!

Sorry rant over.

Trying to bracket a few idiots who go 'sunbathing' or meet up in cars for a BBQ and ban all exercise would be a mistake.

Plenty of serious people out running or cycling are not putting anyone at risk when compared to trip to the corner shop.

Unless you ban people from going to all shops there is no point in banning exercise.

There won't be a need for a banning order if everyone follows the Government's instruction (it's not a voluntary if you don't agree with it). In the situation we now find ourselves in if we do as we are asked both by the Gov't and the shops and exercise some restraint when shopping then we will be through this ****storm quicker than otherwise.
