This is what annoys me the most, we looked half decent in these games and definitely competed. What the hell’s changed? We’ve if anything got more players to choose from now yet have regressed appallingly.

I seem to remember us playing reasonable well against Gillingham. Hobson looking fine when he first came in. Dieng, JD, Elvis, Goodship, Lennon, Oxley aren't bad players, yet have looked Sunday League quality, why is that, is none of that down to the manager?

what i do is compare is the "performances" in the 20/21 season to those at the end of 19/20 season and as a result of that study I KNOW this guy is useless.

Not really. He was allowed to sign all those players on big wages. Something SC and MM could only dream about. Paul Sturrock on the other hand, built a good team on low wages. He was the best Manager.
