Euros

According to the BBC - 1 shot on target for each of France and Germany. God it’s so boring.....

Yes but that was really the sort of game you'd expect to see much later in the tournament.Thought France could (and perhaps should) easily have got a couple more goals if they'd needed to.

Italy were simply different class again. And hardly broke sweat. Still my favourites.
Broke sweat? I thought they all broke sweat and worked their hearts out, v good pressing and running. I get your reasoning, they were hardly troubled by the Swiss, technicallyor physically. .

Hard to tell how good Italy are as they won't be really tested until after the group stage. You can only beat what is in front of you though and they look good. Still would put France and Belgium ahead of them though

Thought Swiss keeper should have done better with 2nd and 3rd goals, he had a clear view of the ball each occasion. Other than that it looked liked they playing a damage limitation strategy.

Really enjoyable tournament so far, not least because of the atmosphere with fans back in the stadia.

And loving the continual Chris Powell cameos, particularly in the behind-the-scenes takes. Great seeing that he’s on top of his game, working with some of the best players in the world and just generally looking so happy!

Whether or not we think he was unlucky with injuries or just not up to the job, it’s so good to see that the stint with us didn’t ruin him.

Always a Southend legend!

American commentators and analysts should be barred from the Euro's. Here are just some of the comments so far. Lol.
The defensive zone. They need to go vertical up the pitch.. Offence. It's a foul kick. It's an illegal throw. That was inside the 18 yard zone. This is great soccer. They need to have a kick at goal.

Reece James is our best wide back according to one I heard

Just a few more to add. As this is football, but not as we know it.
They will be worried about goal differential. They need to score to get the tie goal. Germany are defending in transition. If the score stays 3 and O(As in oh).

Is this some sort of ITV thing that I haven't (so far) picked up on?
