Just proves that commentators don't always know a lot. My MoM was old slab head Harry Maguire, I thought he was immense for the whole 94 minutes.

My boys first England game was away to Germany,(5-1),he love it,only child in a German school who supported England
We won, he will never forget,all over the ground,even in the German end,England fans jumping up and down.In fact,he was waiting for pomm fritz(chips) in a queue when a Brit behind him saw him, saw a child,wearing an England shirt with all his German mates said "your an England fan,i will buy the chips",
Things like this at football,makes kids love-never forget football.

Well it’s effective, but it’s boring. I stand by that but we won - so no complaints here. Ukraine next, they’ll be knackered after extra time. One thing we do have is options off the bench as showed by Grealish coming on and changing the game tonight. We’ve got to be confident of progressing, didn’t see anything in the later game to be too worried about.

Great to finally defeat Germany when it truly mattered , last time was 1966,as for Ukraine , well it again wont be an easy match ,also we not playing at Wembley ,but in Rome so im sure the Italians will be cheering loud for Ukraine,Lets see how well we go away from home , but win that then we play back at Wembley also the final will be played at Wembley, last time we won a major tournament was at Wembley ,heres crossing my fingers and toes

We had more chances in the last 20 because we'd scored, which meant Germany had to go attacking and leave holes at the back. Aside from bringing Grealish on we didn't really change tactic in the last 20, there was just a lot more space to pass into.

Many of the other matches I have seen of this tournament have not been awful to watch and have been much more entertaining. I would never want us to willingly lose and am thrilled we have got so far but up until the last 20 minutes we were very boring to watch.
