Question Exiles and those that live abroad.

Because that's where I was born and raised Stan. University and career took me all over the country. Retirement took me to the Lake District. But Southend United are my team, always were, always will be. Used to visit Southend regularly while my mother was still alive and time my visits to take in a match at Roots Hall but she died 10 years ago so I rarely visit now. Attend as many away matches as possible within range though. L1 and L2 were both good with lots of northern sides, but the NL isn't so good with nothing north of Altrincham. I'll have to travel further afield it seems.....
The reason I asked was assumed that was the reason !
I was born there ,well actually Rockford Hospital . Where did u live ?

Cheshire. Would like to find some other exiles in the north west, I know there are some Stockport Shrimpers from their flag.

St Ives, Cornwall, and @Rob Noxious beats me on the westerly front by two miles when it comes to longitude!
Factor in @cornwall blues and we could start a Kernow supporters branch!

Funnily enough, I saw a 'Kernow Blues' banner when at the Milennium for the final v Blackpool in 2004. I haven't discovered who those KBs were as yet.
