Third year scholars Demaray Anyadike and Ergis Shala have joined Harlow on a season long work experience loan.

Last year Callum Taylor and Issa Mpenga were the scholars who went there but Harlow's season was cut short because of Covid and both ended up being released by Southend at the end of the season. The year before however, Terrell Egbri, Matt Rush and Miles Mitchell-Nelson all joined the Hawks for successful spells which led to them appearing for our firsts.

good luck to the lads ,hopefully the time there will be of great help to them and us. Seems SUFC have a good relationship with Harlow .

Ergis Shala and Demaray Anyadike played in Harlow's opener against Hertford Town.

The Hawks won 2-1. Anyadike lined up on the right wing and set up the opening goal. He was subbed in the 90th minute and later named man of the match. Shala played the full match at centre-half.

Bobby Unwin has signed for Bishop's Stortford on a work experience loan. Let's hope he continues to mature there and develops into a majestic player. Let's hope we don't get too much wining about how he should be in the first team here.

How longs the loan? Bobby looks a decent prospect imo

Whilst Harlow crashed out of the FA Cup this weekend (haven’t seen their line up), Bobby Unwin made his debut as a 56th minute sub for Bishops Stortford in their 5-2 defeat v Kingstonian in the Isthmian Premier (2 divisions below us). He came on with them already trailing 3-1 but made an impression.

Southend United loanee Bobby Unwin came off the bench and looked lively for the Blues, firing just over the bar as well as making a number of good runs and crosses during his cameo appearance.

Bobby Unwin is on the bench today for Bishops Stortford but Reiss Chandler and Jimmy Wallace start. Jimmy Wallace has signed on work experience and was initially only on the bench before an injury in the warm-up meant a late call-up.

No Ergis Shala today for Harlow but Anyadike starts again and Tendi Quamini is on the bench having joined on work experience yesterday.

Both Harlow and Bishops Stortford trail 1-0 at half-time.

Bishops Stortford lost that match 2-0. Bobby Unwin was a half-time sub and apparently missed an open goal.

They were back in action 2 days later in a 2-2 draw against Bowers and Pitsea. Jimmy Wallace again started and Bobby Unwin was on the bench before injury saw him introduced after 41 minutes with the score 1-1. He apparently caused all sorts of problems second half down the left. Wallace was subbed off on 90 minutes.

Last Saturday was FA Cup qualifiers. All 3 Stortford loaners were on the bench. Bobby Unwin was the only one to come on, coming on at 3-0 after 63 minutes. There were no further goals after that.

Today saw Wallace and Unwin on the bench. Jimmy Wallace didn’t have to wait long to make an appearance - he was a 7th minute sub after an injury. He helped keep a clean sheet in a 1-0 win v Hornchurch.

I’m struggling to find Harlow line-ups to see how Anyadike and Shala are getting on. Today’s Harlow’s first match since the bank holiday. They won 2-1 today for what it is worth.

Reiss Chandler was named in the starting line-up for Bishop Stortford tonight. Jimmy Wallace originally wasn’t but was a late change for the second time this season after an injury in the warm up! Bobby Unwin came on as a 71st minute sub in a 4-1 away win at Brightlingsea.

Harlow also won 4-1 but can’t find any team news again.

Here you go:

Jimmy Wallace started for Bishop Stortford in their FA Cup against Bowers and Pitsea. In a mixed day he apparently made a brilliant block to deny a tap in but was also beaten to the ball for Bowers’ second. Reiss Chandler was an unused sub. They lost 2-0.

Yep was at the game, Wallace I thought did very well against some big lumps up top, shame about the mistake as it cost a goal, didn’t think stortford deserved to lose but bowers took the very few chances that came there way, great first goal also.

Went on a camping trip to Brightlingsea when I was a kid and it was so boring we came back early. Hope these guys fare better
Didn’t do your due diligence then! It’s a nice quiet town with nice views and a peaceful way of life. Should have gone to clacton or something if you wanted slot machines and cheap beer lol
