Ron in court.

When you think about, we all have a bit of Ron inside us.
We all, duc and dive to survive,
We are all little WER HAY, whether you earn 15k or 100k a year.
We have all done things a little underhand, whether it be a little white lie or something more.
So I dont think we should beat Ron up to much, when we all have abit of Ron in us.

I can categorically state without fear of contradiction I’ve never had a little bit of Ron inside me, thanks very much...

??

There is no way the authorities could risk sending Ron to prison. If Ron became the 'Daddy' then prison would go from category A relegated to B, followed by C and then an open prison within 3 years.

Plus what would you put on banners....Ron Martin In, or Out

Stan likes his facts and all that is being factually reported is that there is a hearing tomorrow in which individuals just happen to have the same names as persons that have been involved in the management of our football club.. and the cases are being raised by the Specialist Fraud Division....

If he is convicted of fraud where does that leave our club? He would have failed the fit and purpose owners test if he was going to take over the club but what happens when he owns it?

[ was thinking the same.. The rules reference a dishonesty based offence but the tests themselves are a series of tick boxes and rarely do people fail

Tracey Crouch MP is however soon to make recommendations to significantly strengthen the tests

Nevertheless If convicted of serious fraud I would have thought Ron would then fail the test

Owners previously convicted of serious offences have failed the fit and proper test. We may see the FA and NL intervene should this be the case some day down the line.

Ron is a very public spirited sort of guy. He has previously gone to the trouble of assisting the police with their inquiries into a case of financial irregularity. Surely this would count in his favour.

seriou fraud eh ?? If it does turn out to be our very own “TOXIC“** it will be interesting to read all the comments from his many supporters within the SZ ?

send him down.

** refers to the current owner.

Joking aside, I don't like the sound of this. Why is Akinola on the list....
? Surely nothing underhand there? Gee.....

I am guessing it's something along the lines of HMRC throwing a wobbler over the club seemingly using them as an overdraft facility when we were struggling to raise funds to maintain cashflow, and they've convinced the CPS to try and do something to make an example of the directors. I have the feeling it won't progress any further, let's hope not at least.

I wonder if its a public hearing and can be seen on Zoom via prior request, like our HMRC events ?

Cut the bloke some slack, what ever he does, on here, he's guilty until proven innocent. Seeing him at the Council meeting, he doesn't look well at all.
innocent until proven guilty is the cornerstone of our judicial system that’s for sure.
That being said it’s not a good look even if innocent to keep being embroiled in court cases, especially when the word fraud is involved
I think though we still have a right to know if our club owner is up in court for potential fraud matter.

Newcastle changed ownership just in time then!
