Official Match Thread Aldershot Town v Southend United

Aldershot have only won 2 at home all season in the league. Let’s get some more pressure piled on them and the ball in the net!

Not much in terms of attacking options off the bench, Ferguson and Rush. Maybe need some more attacking signings to add a few more options.

This just shows we are still sort of quality in the last third, Daley won’t score from open play never looks like scoring , just prove me wrong Sam now please

We've had a decent run, but the defence is still suspect, eh?
That KL goal was us going to sleep and leaving a man unmarked - same again tonight.
Happy with the forward thrust (when Dennis is playing), but staying switched on is key.

I dont know if Dennis was a late pull out, given I thought he had an ankle injury rather than a hamstring

If we knew for a while im surprised Walsh wasnt drafted in , , as he has at least shown some pace, and our bench of Demi, Rush, Fergo and Kensdale are hardly noted for goalscoring, unless Ferguson can produce a rare worldy from afar

Strongly reminds of us of just how crucial it is to have a bit of pace and if you only have one player with that and he is out, it takes us back towards more sedantary efforts

However still think we have enough to come back here, against a massed defence
