So it's the last game of the season and a bucket and spade derby with neither team having anything to play for except bragging rights on the day.
Whilst the blues had their feet up, the Gulls saw off play-off hunting but faltering Chesterfield at Plainmoor and then endured a long trip up to Stockport on Wednesday where they were narrowly beaten 1-0 and also lost their first choice goalkeeper Shaun MacDonald to injury at the end of the first half.
Blues should therefore be fresher than their Devon-based opponents, but if the long break after the penultimate game has resulted in our players mentally checking in for their summer holiday then 10th placed Torquay could easily capitalise.
Gary Johnson's men have only 1 win in their last six games, but to only lose 1-0 at promotion chasing Stockport is no mean feat.
It will be interesting to see what kind of team Kev and Co. put out for this one. Will he risk any of those returning from injury, like Nathan Ralph and Tom Clifford? Will he allow those faithful servants who will be leaving at the end of the season one last game in what is a dead rubber?
It's your last chance this season to suggest the team you think he should pick and what you predict the result will be.
