Interesting speculation, but Blues can not finish in the top half.
They are 12th in a 23 team league, and would need eight points - not three - to overtake Bromley.
You might not consider 12th to be top half, but then it isn’t bottom half either.

Is anyone really expecting anything special from this game... The majority of the players will know if they're here next season or not. On top of that, they've been on the beach for the last two weeks already.

Interesting one - halfway to 23 is 11.5 so you could argue there are 11 teams in the top half and 12 in the bottom half, or more logically the team occupying 12th is half in the top half and half in the bottom half.

In light of injured Cardwell and Husin
Dalby and Benton in .
Subs, White Wood Dunne Gard Dennis

Steve Philips was a cracking little player for us - battling away upfront against players twice his size I seem to remember.

I certainly would play Dalby up top - no Cardwell, no Murphy - a chance to try something different for 60 minutes or so with Dennis on the bench.

Some would say the game might lack any edge - I would hope that there will be more than enough players who are professionals & will put in their all. One could argue that with "nothing to lose" both sets of players might play with freedom & the result could be a cracking game. I hope so.
