Some Club Staff Salaries Late/Embargo Chat - now resolved (for now)

I suspect many of the staff are not on huge salaries.

Surely everyone should be paid something rather than paying the players first.
Suspect there might be hoops we need to jump through to avoid things like transfer embargoes...

Surely that is just kicking the can down the road...
I agree. I brought this up when up-front payment only for ST's was first pitched, but a lot of people disagreed that it would ever be an issue.

Surely the club would benefit from some money now and some later, therefore offering all options for STH's would be best?

Big risk by the club I think and pumping money in to solve a cash flow issue now risks causing one later, to the detriment of all staff once again.

Looks like it's only partially averted a total meltdown now and we're not even fully underway prepping for next season. Granted there's no matchday revenue though.

Yes it is, what is your suggestion?
We need FF to get going, we need a good start to the season to get turnstiles ringing, we need a money spinning cup run, we need to sell on a player for big money, we need a multi millionaire to invest BIG, we need so much but realistic expectations?

A few thousand ST sales WILL generate a few hundred thousand in cash.

Or what?

...we need Ron to sell the club (and the assets he holds) to someone that has the resources to take this club foward.

Has Ron offered staff a chance to buy a second hand bike so that they can get to work, or rounding them up in a Bentley and kindly dropping them off at the end of the day at a food bank?

You gotta look after your staff after all
What a silly post. What use would that be? No, what he has done is offer staff shares in the club in lieu of payment. All is well.

So how many people are we talking about here and what jobs do they do out of season?

I kind of assumed that most matchday staff are only paid on match days so surely its just the groundsmen, medical staff, coaching staff and a handful of people in the office working this time of year?

Whilst I can fully believe we are behind on wage payments given our history are the two posters making the claims here actually in the know?
