What have you watched on TV?

Baymax, six 10 minute shorts on Disney+

Brilliant stuff for kids and kids at heart. Blitzed through them all in one sitting.

Eric Clapton In San Diego on Sky Arts , brilliant watching the master at work .

My Life as a Rolling Stone.

Excellent doc, Mick is very open. You can see, even now, Altamont still gives him nightmares.

Saw !943's For Whom the Bell Tolls last night in V-0- ie in English-on France's Arte channel. Thought I'd seen it but no.Dated for some perhaps but Gary Cooper and the young Ingrid Bergman were superb.Very faithful to Hemmingway's novel.

The wonderful Ingrid Bergman----She can look average sometimes and yet beautiful at other times.

This of course was her second American film.Hemm very much wanted her and Cooper to get the lead roles. She nearly didn't get it as another actress was first cast in the role but didn't look glamorous enough with her hair shorn ,which of course IB did,
