After a draw against Wrexham that was both heartening because of the performance and disappointing because of the result, we continue our National League campaign with the relatively short journey to north-west London to face yet another top 6 team, Wealdstone.

The Stones, under boss Stuart Maynard, have made a great start to the season losing just one of their first nine games (a 1-0 defeat at Eastleigh in the second game of the season). More recently they've been on a run of four successive draws (Yeovil, Woking, Maidstone and Torquay).

Their start is even more impressive when you add to it the fact that they're still a part-time team. They lost last season's top scorer, Josh Umerah, to League Two Hartlepool over the summer but did manage to sign the impressive Max Kretzschmer who scored 13 goals for Woking last season - although he didn't feature in their last game having gone off injured in the previous one. Also strolling around the midfield (we hope) will be former Blues midfielder Nathan Ferguson who promised much for us (that goal at Forest Green Rovers) but so often failed to deliver - let's hope he has a quiet game on Saturday.

Blues really need to turn the impressive moments in our performances at Chesterfield and home to Wrexham into a 90-minute performance that also produces 3 points - maybe this Saturday at Grosvenor Vale will be the kick start to our season and the start of our march up the table.

With the signing of Kacper Łopata and the return from injury last Saturday of Noor Husin, Jake Hyde and skipper Nathan Ralph, it means that Maher and Co. have a strong squad to choose from, so if you were in Kev's shoes who would you choose to start this game and what do you predict the result will be?

For me has to be the side that started the last game to start on Saturday.

Still nervous that we dont have a keeper on the bench

Can’t see Kev changing much if Saturdays 11 are fit with the exception of Steve -> Colin.

Really feel we’ll get 3 points in another close encounter.

There will be one team soon that we will give a proper spanking to ..

Surely we have to win this? They may be 6th but looking at their fixtures compared to ours is like chalk and cheese.

We have to start putting a run together soon and are due some luck and 2 wins from 10 games won’t make good reading.

I would go unchanged from last week injury permitting.

We should be picking up 3 points here. They are a little tin pot club and we are southend united.
Oh God.

I am sure Kev and co will be ignoring their name and history and instead looking at factors like they have one of the best centre halves in the league (Cook), one of the best centre midfielders (Kretzschmar), an in-form striker with 5 goals already (Browne) and have been extremely well organised all season.

We can certainly beat them but we will need to play very well to do so.
