Supporters Group News Statements and Protest Chat

What will make more of an impact. More people outside his house or unified protests at game getting coverage?
What we need is someone with a truck that can be filled with hard core or ballast and dumped on his driveway . Remember this happend to someone who had upset a couple of people I know , they dumped a load of ballast on his driveway . He could not get it moved for a couple of days .

I don't think the two things are mutually exclusive. Chris Phillips was there today so he has already posted on X, and the photos will undoubtedly appear in the Echo as well. The real winner this morning was that those there wanted to be there and there was a bond as a result. If folk don't want to do the house protest, fair enough, but those that went felt they were doing their bit. And as for an earlier post on here, we had other things to do on a Sunday morning, but we chose to go to Benfleet Hill as well, but thanks for the reminder of what we should have been doing!
I'm not telling people what they should be doing. People can do what they want, I'm merely offering a different viewpoint for those who might not wish to go to his house and protest.

Yep, guilty as charged, my Red BMW 525IX (with Blue SUFC flags) needed a nice runout but every time I went passed HollyTree House some people appeared to be protesting about something and I was worried they would step into the road, so decided to warn them I was coming by pressing my horn a few times. Even got waves from the nice Security Guys every time I went past.
I was more concerned you'd get a flat battery when you were initially parked up Dave, giving countless renditions on your horn!!.

You certainly did my ear drums in @The Big Dady! Good to see you in the flesh at long last even if I did nearly fall off my crutch with the honking :Winking:

It's called the outside world.. fresh air.. maybe you should try it sometime

Sounds like its going well.

Must be a right good protest if you are on your phone posting on shrimperzone every 2 minutes?

I'm not sure who made you the moral authority on protesting, but for someone calling out others for not protesting, I'm not sure that being in benfleet whilst glued to your phone counts as effective action.

That's the kind of energy we so badly need, hats off mate 👍

You don’t stay married and have children with someone with no morals and keep morals yourself. Sure she’s as odious and egotistical as him and his children. Deserves the same treatment.

You could be right (I have no idea) but love is blind, deaf, dumb and/or scared. Good women stay with far far worse.

Bit slow in getting out this morning, but together with my boy and two labradogs we made it. Strange that my young fox red labbo kept barking, perhaps he could sense an evil spirit? I hope it spoilt Rat's poached eggs and smkd salmon with newspaper on a Sunday.
Lovely to meet even more Shrimpers.
LE Rat appeared when there was 8 of us left, so we felt it appropiate to turn our backs on him and head for the car.

I'm not an advocate of invading the RH pitch, but I feel the fans have to do what's necessary to get the game abandoned on Tuesday.

If we can't fulfill a friendly, then how can we expect to play with 12, maybe even just 11 players, including just two defenders? It's madness.

How is Kev supposed to prepare for this?
Tactically impossible to pick a system that works with what is available and he can't really have any contact in training in fear of losing less than the 11/12. Because of the numbers, we are only going to pick up further injuries. Athletes have to train, and footballers in particular need lots of running to put loads through the joints. So either way we are going to see players suffering in the next couple of weeks.

Forget the result or a meaningless fine we can't pay anyway, this is now about the welfare of the players.

Take Oli Coker for instance, on the bench despite a tight hamstring. If he's now the only player on the bench on Tuesday, and he has to be risked, that hamstring can easily become a tear putting him out for anywhere between 6 weeks to 3-4 months, with or without surgery. We are now risking these players' careers, and its not acceptable because the owner doesn't give a toss about them. Well, we should if he doesn't. So if the game goes ahead, I'm happy to support getting it abandoned whatever the cost. If it doesn't go ahead, we should be outside the rats' house again.

Game should be called off and everyone straight too his house. No excuses then
