Good Luck from a Chester fan

We were the better footballing side but home advantage won it, as we all knew it woul. You should be fine tomorrow and create a home atmosphere.
Not that it helps now, but Scunny should have been down to ten before they got the winner.

Appreciate your time in coming on and posting your best wishes. :Thumbs up:

Thanks mate, are you of a vintage to remember the great Mad Dog Gary Bennett, who, iIrc, graced us for a few seasons and had two spells with CC (his local club?).
Bizarre player but a favorite for me for his courage and effort.
Yes, I certainly am and a lot further back. He was a natural goalscorer and a bit mad, as you say. I met a guy who went to school with him and he said he could hardly get in the school team but determination counts for a lot. Andy Harris played for Chester...lovely bloke and got me tickets. Took him and his wife out to a meal in the heart of Dorset when he moved to Weymouth. He said 90% of his game was determination and fitness, rather than tricks

I saw you at Yeovil and said on gere how good you looked and predicted you would get to the olay offs.
Best of luck tomorrow against the village team.
Cheers pal, and while you’re on can u settle an argument for me (fella at work not having it). I swear, many moons ago, at your old ground, when I stood at one end of the way terrace I was in England and ,at the other, in Wales. Was that a myth, or was I ****ed again !!?

No, that is true as far as I am aware. The arguent comes up regularly but i think if you look at Wiki it confirms it. Fans sometimes call us sheepshaggers as opposed to Northern scum etc! Confusing for them!
