Wembley tickets

The difficulty with this even if a load of pressure is exerted at the highest level is that someone somewhere has signed this capacity off as the maximum on “safety” grounds and they’ll have to backtrack on that. Difficult to suddenly say it’s ok to have 50,000 fans using the same trains that yesterday you said were only safe to carry 40,000. Some creative thinking needed to safe face…

Done. Next?

So all the scare stories were....... true.
Yes and I need to apologise to whoever it was that made the first comment about it.

**** up of EPIC proportions!

I don’t blame TFL Rolling announcements of planned engineering for the next 6 months is perfectly reasonable.

I do wonder whether TfL could at least consider a short term shuttle only service Baker St to Wembley though I do understand any short term logistics around that being unworkable.

This is firmly on the league who clearly didn’t foresee a major team final for which they should have at least had a contingency plan organised.

Great. So I've paid for a hotel close to Wembley Stadium on the Saturday night before the match so that I can just stroll to the game on Sunday afternoon. I've booked in for the Sunday night as well so that I'll be sure of getting a train home to Cumbria on Monday. Train tickets paid for too. All non-refundable of course.

Now I might not get a ticket.......
