Question What are you wearing tomorrow?

Because of my superstitious nature, and throwing my Southend shirt across the lounge when we went 3-1 down at Rochdale and changing into a non football multi-colour T-shirt and we won that, I wore the same T-shirt for FGR we won again, so I am wearing it tomorrow.

That left me in a conundrum how to show my allegiance and my wife's worry that I would be viewed as a day tripper lol.

So I searched my wardrobe and found.........................................

.........My 1976/77 season red, white and blue "SHRIMPERS ARE MAGIC" Scarf.

So I have all colours covered we might play in.

TIP: The East side that we are allocated is the side of the stadium gets the sun, so take a cap to avoid having to squint.

If you see me on the 10.00 train out of Rochford come and say "hello".

Looking forward to tomorrow and I think we might just win this!

Well....I've given this a lot of thought.
Tomorrow at 3.00pm, we can expect light cloud and a moderate breeze, 39% humidity and an air pressure of 1049 millibars. (At sea level air pressure is normally aropund 1013.2 - so although slightly higher we Shrimpers should be OK.)
Visibility is expected to be good, the temperature will feel around 20 degrees, preceipitation is not expected and there will be a moderate breeze from the west.

So...in conclusion....I shall be wearing clothes...definitly clothes.

Was tempted to go for retro and the 2006/07 home shirt, but this season’s shirt has been lucky enough in recent weeks so I’ll stick with it.

Lucky pin badge of the club crest from 1994 bought from a stall outside Atlético Madrid’s stadium for €1 will be in my pocket as it was for Rochdale and FGR.
