Hi all, been a good number of years since I've been on the zone and was unable to use my old moniker "Cockles, Shrimps&Whiteweed"...joined originally around 2004. Lots of names I recognise from back then and good to see you all as passionate as ever.
I've been following the Shrimpers since 1984, Dad before me, Grandad and Great Grandad. My son has also fallen in Love and in recent seasons there has been four generations of Watson's at the Hall. A proud feat not many will achieve I suspect. Sadly Grandad is in too poor a health to continue to attend from here on in, but those precious memories will be carried by myself and my boy for many many decades to come.
Recently showed my lad a 1987 littlewoods cup program, within which the club talking about our new stadium.....just to bring him up to speed on the longest running building application farce in European history. ?
Anyway, I never was a regular poster so I doubt anyone will remember my old username, but always enjoyed reading through the threads.
