0.8 mile. About a ten min walk.

According to my ticket a 5 minute walk. Google Maps says slightly longer, but either way it appears to be a walk in the park!



We're going up the night before and will be doing the parkrun in that park on the Saturday morning - any other parkrunners (I'm looking at you @Lord Football !) fancy joining me?

I think I'll wear a Southend shirt to get the conversation going!

So am I. Row A seat 17. The main stand has windows at the sides at each end and the view may be obstructed at corners etc if you sit in the ordinary part of the stand which is why I paid a bit more for a decent seat by the Directors Box.

King’s Lynn was my local town for nearly 2 years. A beautiful place but an absolute hole, so you are not far from the truth there.

You may find that The Linnets have a lot of floating supporters who attend games when Norwich City are playing away. The latter are away to Man City that day, so no points there for the Canaries. In Norfolk they regard Norwich as the best team in Anglia and the second best as Kings Lynn. That team down the map a bit called Ipshite are to them what Col Ewe are to Southend.

I emailed about blue badge parking to be told there isn’t any and the car park is full. Then said if we get there early we may get parked near the ground street parking
