    Bentley Tribunal Fee - £1.1m + add-ons

According to CP on twitter. I'm awaiting disappointment.
  2. Jack Payne Transfer Fee

Have we reached agreement with Huddersfield or is it still going to a tribunal?

    Eva Carneiro

This story has been a bit weird from the day Jose got the hump with Eva Carneiro up to the tribunal case now. I'm not sure whether she is now pursuing a point of principle against Chelsea and Jose, or just going for gold. The settlement offer made by Chelsea seems a pretty good one to me...

How much will we get for Payne and Bentley at tribunal?

Just wondering what people's thoughts are on how much we are likely to receive for these two. I'm guessing our wage bill is between 1.5 and 2 million per season. I'm thinking between 300-500k for Bentley and between 100k -250k for Payne.
  5. Straker tribunal

I've just read on the OS that tomorrow there will be a tribunal to settle the fee as Southend and Aldershot could not agree on a figure. Can we afford to pay anything ? What happens if we don't agree ? Can we give him back........................:winking:
  6. White officer sue Met police for racism

This seems like a non-controversial topic to stimulate a measured thoughtful debate http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-15341661 "Six white police officers have accused Scotland Yard of racial discrimination, saying they are the victims of political correctness. The officers are taking the...

    Oh Dear.

Barna must have been too busy to post this one about a left wing organisation discriminating against a 51 year old employee. http://www.guardian.co.uk/media/2011/jan/11/countryfile-miriam-oreilly-tribunal Presumably this will leave the tax payer with a hefty fine.

Articles Typed Up (For those who don't have access to them)

For those of you that do not have access to the Echo, I have typed up some of the sections in the paper. I hope these are of interest to someone, and also hope it's OK to post them here. If there not - remove them.. I have posted them in the Echo thread, but people might not see them in there...

    Interview with Anton Otulakowski

Born and bred in Yorkshire, Anton, a former international schoolboy gymnast, caught the eye of Barnsley while playing for Ossett Town and joined them in 1975 for his first pro team. Whilst at Barnsley, Anton was also holding down a full time job as a surveyor with the then Gas Board and he...

Morrison on the Move Posted on: Mon 30 Jun 2008 Michael Morrison will sign for Leicester City tomorrow (Tuesday), joining the former Premiership club who were relegated from the Championship to League One at the end of last season. The 20-year-old moves in exchange for a transfer fee that must...

    2007/08 season

For all the moments of high drama, the goals, the saves and the tears, I've got a funny feeling that the 2007/08 season will be remembered as the year that the owners of football clubs across the land finally lost their tenuous grip on reality. It's as if there is a private competition between...
  12. Decision Deadline On Leeds' Appeal

    Tuesdays Echo

Flahavan thinks promotion will be harder than people think. He has been linked with Hull and Palace but is happy to be at Blues and wants to sort a new contract out. Barnsley have refused another bid for Hayes and the fee will now be settled by tribunal.
  15. JCR

Is JCR still training with us? I know theres a tribunal next week but surely the whole matter has to come to a head today? After the window closes we won't be able to sign him permenantly and I doubt we'd be able to take him again on 'emergency' loan. Does JCR's season end...

The FA sh!t On Macc By Gary J Date: 19/12/2005 Sorry about the language in the heading but that is what they have well and truly done. The club need to find £300,000 in six weeks. For a club of our size and with our attendances the FA have well and truly shafted us BIG STYLE. I spoke to a...
